I can still remember when it all started in 7th grade at Hayfield. She had just started chemo and someone that didnt even know her took her hat off and when I saw her in the empty halls crying right after, she told me what happened and I just hugged her and held on. I wish I could do that now sooo bad.Christa wasn't the kind of person to go on not forgiving whoever that was though, she was the one hurting but the next thing you know picking herself right up and finding comfort in the people that loved her and enjoying every second with them. She grew into such a strong person and became so carefree focusing on living her own life with the people that loved her so much. I only wish that we had stayed as close but we didnt but having her in chem last year I saw so easily that she could always make people smile and was so fearless. Thank you so much for being such an inspirational human being Christa. I'm so happy that you can be free of all the pain now and be in a much better place. I won't ever forget you and I love you! God bless the Thompson family, you raised such an amazing girl!
