Although she is no longer with us, Krista lives on in my heart. She left showing everyone around her how to appreciate the small things in life. She was a strong-willed, courageous, and happy go lucky teen. She must have inherited her awesome traits from her mother. Every time I saw Krista at school, she was wearing a smile and helping her mom or the first grade teachers. Despite all the crappy cards that were dealt to her, she always full of conversation and not one was ever about the disease that she was so bravely fighting. My few memories of Krista will never fade. Krista, thanks for teaching us about the good things in life.

Love, Lisa Callahan
