I agree with what Shane said about being defined not by a disease, but by your character. One of the most amazing things about Krista is her positive attitude. I never once heard her (or anyone in her family, for that matter) complain about her illness or its nasty side effects. You would have never known she was fighting such a terrible disease because she ALWAYS had a smile and a happy thought to share. It was hard to be discouraged about anything when she was around. Her energy and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
