My favorite memory of Krista is her rolling on Kathie's desk chair between Kathie's classroom and mine with the all important question, "Are you ready for lunch yet?" Off we would go to IHOP where I, the mother of two grown sons, would learn about teenage girls.
I would discover that Krista was exceptional. She was wise beyond her years. She knew what was important. She had her priorities in order.
And then there is the smile, wide and genuine.
And the super fast talking. I had to seriously focus for fear I would miss something important.
Krista was a teacher. She taught me how to live in the moment.
all my love,
ann
