I will always remember Krista as the girl who always had a warm smile to share no matter what, who was always willing to laugh at my stupid jokes and most importantly as a girl who could take any situation in stride, no matter what the circumstances. I only knew Krista a few short years and I won't claim to know everything about her. What I do know is this; Krista Thompson was a beautiful, strong willed individual, one of the select few I know who could grab life by the horns and put cancer in its place.

  It is important to remember not to define someone’s life by such a disease, but to realize what being able to fight that internal battle says about their character. Being able to describe someone with the willpower to fight a dirty nasty back stabbing disease that doesn't play by the rules, that attacks you from the inside and just doesn't seem to stay down is impossible. The truth is such a strong will can't be described in words and neither can a person such as Krista.

Krista, you will be truly missed. Class just won't be the same without you.
