Krista and I became instant friends when we first met three years ago. I was drawn to her kind and gentle nature and compassionate heart. We talked daily on the phone and over text messages about school, photography, our mutual love of travel, sports, clothes and shoes (of course), and boys (obviously). Sometimes we talked about the future. Krista wanted to go to St. Mary's College and become a teacher like her Mom. She would have been a great teacher. Over the years Krista became more than a friend, she was like a sister to me. I will miss her everyday.
