Krista will be missed greatly

Krista had a smile that was contagious. Her laugh all enjoyed. I knew her on several levels. She was my daugher's friend and teammate and one of my students. I still remember the first day we met. She came home with my daughter the first day of school in 9th grade and she was eating dinner with us. We asked her who she had for math and she said "Someone I never heard of, a Ms. Bell" We all laughed hard and I reached across the table and said "Let me introduce myself, I am your teacher." She now knew why we were all laughing at her and joined in the fun. As for that class, she brightened that class. She came smiling each day. Math clearly was not her favorite subject but she did not hold that against me and kept us all laughing and cheerful despite the lack of love for the subject. She could always find some comment to make that we all could enjoy. I also knew her from her freshman field hockey endeavors. You would never know the hardships she had encountered regarding her health. She had so much courage on the field. She gave the game her all and was a delight to watch play. She was a fierce competitor. In the carpools to and from practice, she kept girls laughing with her incredible sense of humor. Krista you will be missed!
